Come prepared rain or shine for a day of fun, flowers and friends...so bring your notebook and your camera! On Sunday November 20th from 11 - 3 we held our annual Holiday Open House. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to enjoy home made h'ourderves and cookies by the fire, our recipes are listed below. Thank you for letting us help you get into the holiday spirit! We currently have a great selection of swags, wreaths, roping, ornaments and more, so stop in and let us help you pick that perfect gift for the gardener in your life. Holiday hours are Sunday 11-4, Monday - Saturday 9-5. We are closed Thanksgiving Day. Happy Holidays!

Our 2nd annual Labor Day Weekend Tomato Tasting Event and Plant Sale was a wonderful success! For the second year in a row 'Sun Sugar' was the overwhelming favorite in the tomato tasting.

Hillside Garden Center helped Binghamton University students plant trees for Arbor Day. The 2011 planting took place on Binghamton's South side with volunteers planting 17 trees along Route 434.

Hillside Garden Center taught seminars at the 2011 Home Show held at the Broome County Arena. Attendance was big and we got several compliments on our attractive booth with Fresh Flowers and Blooming Plants. We featured some of new products for the season including: Ready to plant window sill herb gardens, gazing balls, eucalyptus patio furniture and Lite Stiks.

Our Labor Day Tomato Tasting Weekend was a success! We had a wonderful turnout and gave away 19 prizes valued at just under $400.00!
